WASHINGTON  — The Justice Department is launching an investigation into former

President Joe Biden's use of pardon power during the final days of his presidency.

First reported by Reuters, the probe is set to examine whether Biden

was competent and whether others were taking advantage of him through

the use of AutoPen or other means," according to an email sent

by DOJ pardon attorney Ed Martin and viewed by the outlet.

President Trump has repeatedly made unfounded claims that an

autopen was used to affix Biden's signature to policies he was

unaware of. He has insinuated that someone else was in control of

the President's signature and was running the country.
